Our Agency had experienced a wave of inappropriate emails & spam, which was impacting on our staff’s valuable time. Not to mention the agencies bandwidth. AUS-IP Services has developed scanning software “SecurMail” that scans & filters all inward & outward email for Virus attacks, Inappropriate emails, offensive language, and annoying spam. After SecurMail was introduced the level of annoying emails has been eliminated all staff are very thankful for the inappropriate email being stopped in its tracks. As an example for months of January & February 2006 the system blocked, quarantined approx 27,000 items, which totalled 1650Mb of data. Email archiving is also available as an optional service with all inward & outward mail bound mail being archived to a CD/DVD.
